Calls for seafood tests due to radiation leak in Japan from

Scientists previously reported higher-than-expected concentrations of radiation in fish off Japan. Now there are calls for testing of seafood sold in the U.S.

Nuclear experts are calling on the U.S. government to test West Coast waters and Pacific seafood sold in the U.S. in the wake of Japan’s alarming admission about an ongoing radiation leak.

The Tokyo Electric Power Co. acknowledged last week that 300 tons of contaminated water from its crippled Fukushima nuclear plant has been seeping daily into the ocean since a devastating earthquake and tsunami in March 2011.

Although contaminated air, rainfall and even radioactive debris from Japan have drifted toward the U.S. West Coast since the disaster occurred 2 1/2 years ago, scientists are unclear about how the contaminated waters could impact the health of Americans.

“A leak of 300 tons is about 80,000 gallons, but the Pacific Ocean is pretty large compared to that,” said Dr…

Micro-Chipped Pharmaceuticals Given Green Light by Medical Totalitarians - by F. Kaskais

Christina Sarich, Staff Writer
Waking Times

Proteus Digital Health which recently changed their name from Proteus Biomedical has been given approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to dose you with a micro-chipped pill. The company has been working with the FDA since 2008, at its own admission, to ‘determine the regulatory pathway for this new technology.’ Just weeks ago, this ‘technology’ application was processed ‘in accordance with the de novo provisions of the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act for low-risk devices that have no predicate on the market.’

While these initial observances of the micro-chip scanning pill seem fairly benign, there are people with concerns that these micro-chips will be used for more nefarious reasons.

Germany to become first European state to allow ‘third gender’ birth certificates - by F. Kaskais

German parents will no longer be legally obliged to register their newborn child as male or female, and will instead be officially allowed to assign the baby a “third gender” if the sex cannot be clearly identified at birth.

The new law will come into force on November 1, on the back of a constitutional court decision which states that as long as a person “deeply feels” that they belong to a certain gender, they have a personal right to choose how they legally identify themselves.

Parents of newborn infants will be allowed to leave the gender form on the child’s birth certificate completely blank if it is born with unusual physical characteristics making it impossible to determine the gender.

The new law will apply to intersexuals, also known as hermaphrodites, rather than transsexuals. Hermaphrodites are people in possession of both female and male physical characteristics.

Justice Minister Sabine Leuthheusser-Schnarrenberger…

Economic Affairs Committee rejects Senate bill of reparations for slavery; estimation of payments valued at US$8 quadrillion

Black Women of Brazil

Note from BW of Brazil:The topic of reparations for the horrors, violations and damages due to the inhumane practice of slavery has been a hot topic for a number of years in the United States. Thus, it comes as no surprise that it is also a controversial topic in Brazil, a country in which slavery lasted longer (350 years), was abolished later (1888) and where 9 times more slaves were imported (somewhere 4-5 million). But there are a number of complications involved in concluding how much slavery was worth to Brazil and how to go about successfully repairing such an injustice. Beyond all of the complexities, does anyone actually believe that any capitalist government would actually seriously consider such an act? Well, it’s still interesting to know a few of the details of the discussion.

New King of Belgium, Philippe, member of the Bilderberg Group - by F. Kaskais

Belgian monarchy has a new king – King Philippe of Belgium. As Reuters reports in today edition, “Belgium will swear in a new king on Sunday with festivities but also questions over the political influence of the monarch and the acceptance of Philippe as the king of all Belgians. The 183-year-old country is split across the middle, with many Dutch speakers seeking greater independence for Flanders in the north and wary of a monarchy seen rooted in the once powerful, but now poorer French-speaking Wallonia in the south. “One king, two nations” was a headline in French language business daily L’Echo, while Dutch newspaper De Standaard pushed the royals deep inside its weekend issue, leading instead with a story on tax.”

“Prince Philippe, now King, photographed by me here at the 2005 Bilderberg conference in Rottach Egern, Germany.”

What most people do not know is that the newly crowned King…
